The fishing school
The fishing school of the épinoche of the Barley Valley is based with the Club Port-South, in edge of the lake of the village of Port-South, course Amirauté 91650-Breuillet.
The inscription at the fishing school of the épinoche of the Barley Valley makes it possible to the families concerned to profit from the Ticket Leisure of the Case of Family benefit of the Essonne insofar as the child is old of less than 15 years.
The fishing school of the épinoche of the Barley Valley has an approval decreed by the Superior council of Fishing and respects the definite charter. While sticking so that fishing becomes a true pleasure for the young people, it transmits the ethics of associative fishing founded on:
- the respect of fish,
- conscience of the fragile and irreplaceable character of the aquatic environments,
- the respect of oneself and others,
- the knowledge of the role of approved associations of fishing.
In order to be able to carry out a teaching effective and personalized while ensuring a maximum safety, the number of pupils is limited to 20.
Teaching is spread out over 2 years with 2 levels:
- the level initiation makes it possible to the beginner to acquire sufficient knowledge to be able to practise the autonomous fishing of way in a simple situation,
- the level improvement allows the pupil, who will have already been able to progress in practice of at least a technique of fishing, to be effective even in a complex situation.
The workshop of fishing and discovered aquatic environment aims to allow the fisherman beginning, at the conclusion of his formation, to practise fishing by having an autonomous and responsible behavior with respect to nature, other users of the aquatic environment, and itself.
This new fisherman is accomodated as of the 9 years age, saturdays afternoon, of 14:00 to 17:00.
The parents deposit and recover the children with the places of appointments fixed by the framing.
All the fishermen must be in possession of their chart of fishing and their halieutic indentity card. For the older children of less than 16 years, they are included in the amount of the inscription.
Clothing adapted to the climatic conditions, colors not too sharp, and rather worn are recommended.
A whole of fishing tackle is given at the time of the first meeting, against a cheque of guarantee, the whole being restored with the last meeting of the year.
This unit includes/understands:
- a basket sits containing lead a box, two stoppers, a fuller, a probe, a small pocket of hooks, a reel of wire, an assembled line.
- a telescopic fishing cane of 5 meters for fishing with the blow.
The soft foods and esches necessary for the meetings of fishing are provided by the school.
The program is of 12 meetings where fishing with the blow and the throw is taught.
The year ends in an evaluation of acquired knowledge. The success
with this control results in the delivery of a diploma. The theoretical courses are exempted with the room of Port-South in Breuillet.
Practical teaching is carried out on the territory of fishing of the E.V.O.
The pupils have access to the lâchers free trouts and contests of fishing organized by association during the year of their inscription.
