The épinoche of the Barley Valley being an Approved Association of Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic environment réciprocitaire, the fishermen having his chart can fish without supplement and with the same rights as those which them chart confers to them on the totality of the territory of fishing of the other A.A.P.P.M.A. réciprocitaires of the Essonne, like in the departmental ponds.

In France, classified as water Public domain is mainly the inland waterways. There they have the advantage of allowing any fisherman having a valid chart, of a A.A.P.P.M.A. réciprocitaire or not but having its head office in France, of being able to fish with only one line.

In the Essonne, classified as water Public domain is the parts of the Seine crossing the territories of fishing of a.A.P.P.M.A. of Corbeil, Coudray-Morsang-Villejuif, Evry and Laugh-Viry-Grigny. The ballast-pits or excavations which join the Seine are excluded from the Public domain.

As example, any fisherman of a A.A.P.P.M.A. not réciprocitaire of the Essonne however has the right to fish with only one line floating and held with the hand in water of the Public domain.
